Review and Consider Purchase of Property
DISCUSSION:
The property at 1639 Main Street NW (Property ID# 45-411-0210), north of ERMU's Field
Services building, is going to be listed for sale on the market. Because of this property's
location, it would be desirable for the Utilities to acquire for future expansion, storage, or
parking needs.
ACTION REQUESTED:
Staff recommends the Utilities Commission make a motion in support of developing an offer to
acquire 1639 Main Street NW, Elk River, MN (property ID# 45-411-0210). Staff suggests the
Utilities Commission enter into closed session pursuant to Minnesota Statute 13D.05, Sudb.
3(c)(3) "to develop or consider offers or counteroffers for the purchase or sale of real or personal
property."
