AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER AMENDING SECTION 2- 252(x)
OF THE CITY CODE OF ORDINANCES RELATING TO ICE ARENA
COMMISSION MEMBERSHIP
The City Council of the City of Elk River does hereby ordain as follows:
Section 1. Section 2 -252 (a) titled Membersb p; officers; compensation of members, of the City of Elk
River Code of Ordinances shall be amended as follows:
(a) The ice arena commission shall consist of seven members who shall be
appointed by the council for terms of three years. The commission will consist of
the following:
1. Tae One representatives designated by the Elk River Youth Hockey
Association.
2. One representative designated by Independent School District 728.
3. One representative of the Parks and Recreation Commission.
4. One representative of the City Council.
5. Two representatives from the Public selected by the City Council.
6. One representative designated by the Elk River Skating Club
Section 2. That this ordinance shall take effect upon publication as provided by law.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 6`' day of August, 2012.
