SUBJECT: Massage Therapist/Establishment
License
LuAnne Moe has made application for a Massage Therapist License
and a Massage Establishment License.
Massage Therapist License
Ms. Moe meets the license requirement of having successfully
completed 500 hours of course work in the theory and practice of
massage. The required background check has been completed and
signed by the Police Chief.
Massage Establishment License
LuAnne Moe has also made application to operate a Therapeutic
Massage Establishment at 934 Highway 10 (Martin Plaza). Operation
of a massage establishment requires a conditional use permit. The
Council will review the CUP prior to considering the massage
establishment license.
All license application material and fees have been submitted.
ACTION REQUESTED:
1. Motion to approve the therapeutic massage establishment
license requested by LuAnne Moe for 934 Highway 10,
contingent upon the conditional use permit being approved.
