SUBJECT: August meeting information
We are rapidly entering the public review portion of the planning process. In preparation
for that, at this month's meeting, I expect to:
Develop consensus with the plan;
Identify the main issue points that will help focus the presentations;
Define the public comment schedule
Identify members to assist with the open house and public presentations.
Develop consensus with the plan.
I have received a number of comments regarding the plan. To facilitate the
discussion, I plan on going through the document page by page. Please bring your copies.
Identify main points
It is necessary to develop a presentation so that necessary information is communicated to
the 6 Boards and Commissions. The main issues or points should be identified by the Task
Force. As we review the document, be thinking about what these points are.
Review schedule.
We will need to identify the public open house dates. It has been my experience that people
rarely provide comment early, but don't want to be informed at the last minute. Therefore,
the plan will be outlined in the regular Boards and Commission meetings, and an open house
held during the middle third of the month to solicit feedback in a less formal setting. Please
bring your schedules, the Task Force should plan on attending to help residents and
interested persons review the plan at the open house.

Urista were absent.
Minutes May 30, 2012. By consensus, the Task Force approved the minutes as drafted.
Review illustrative master plan.
Barnhart reviewed the illustrative master plan section II and section III page by page.
The Task Force adjourned at 7:30 pm.
