Accept quote from Midwest Landscapes for Main Street and Highway 169 landscaping improvements at a
cost not to exceed$19,737.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
On August 20, the City Council directed staff to obtain quotes to complete the landscaping work at Main
Street and Highway 169. Staff requested quotes from six companies, five from the Elk River area, and
the company that completed the Main Street Parking Plaza landscaping.
Two complete quotes were received, ranging in price from $19,737 to $25,000. The architects estimated
cost was $21,995.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funding will come from intersection enhancements within the Street Improvement Reserve Fund.
