1. Call Meeting To Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River City Council acting as
the Canvassing Board was called to order at 8:05 a.m. by Mayor Dietz.
2. Canvass Results of Primary Election
The August 14, 2012, primary election results for the Councilmember Ward 3 race were
reviewed.
MOVED BY COUNCILMEMBER GUMPHREY AND SECONDED BY
COUNCILMEMBER ZERWAS TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 12 -41 APPROVING
THE ABSTRACT OF VOTES CAST IN THE PRECINCTS IN THE CITY OF
ELK RIVER, STATE OF MINNESOTA AT THE PRIMARY ELECTION HELD
TUESDAY, AUGUST 14, 2012. MOTION CARRIED 3 -0.
3. Adjournment
There being no further business, Mayor Dietz adjourned the meeting of the Elk River City
Council at 8:07 a.m.
