SUBJECT: Zylstra Harley Davidson parking vehicles on vacant lot
At the October 20~h City Council meeting, Councilman Dietz requested an update regarding
Zylstra Harley Davidson using the vacant lot across the street for parking. Employees have
been parking on the lot and trailers have also been parked on the lot. I have talked with Mike
Matter, General Manager and Greg Artman, Sales Manager regarding this issue and informed
them that the vehicles and trailers may be subject to being towed. They have assured me that
they will no longer use this site for parking. Mr. Artman was also mailed a certified letter
confirming that conversation. A site visit was made on Thursday October 23ra and no
vehicles or trailers belonging to Zylstra Harley Davidson were parked on the lot.
