Downtown Task Force
Minutes
September 24, 2012
Meeting was called to order at 6:32 by co-chair Wilson
Members Wurm, Hudson, Leiser, McCoy, Toth, Niziolek, Holme, Nadeau-Peterson Urista
and Anderson were absent.
Minutes August 27, 2012. By consensus, the Task Force approved the minutes as drafted.
Comments. Barnhart reviewed the comments received, reading aloud the two received from
Commissioner Paul Bell and Debbie Rydberg.
Zerwas suggested that individual letters be mailed to property owners within the study area
informing them of an additional meeting.
Consensus of the Task Force agreed, a second open house will be held 4-7 pm on Monday,
October 22nd. The regular task force meeting will follow at 7:30.
The Task Force adjourned at 7:11 pm.

MEMORANDUM
TO: Downtown Task Force Members

SUBJECT: October meeting information

The Open house is scheduled for 4-7 pm on October 22nd. Postcards were mailed to
property owners within the study area. About 600 postcards were mailed.
After the open house, the Task Force will review these comments. Depending on the
number of comments, we may have to break into smaller groups. All comments are
important, but I'm hoping that we’ll be able to discern common themes and concerns that
we can address.
I envision quite a bit of dialogue on how to adjust this plan to address the comments.
Again, please let me know if you cannot attend. Those members that have had conflicts the
last couple of months, please try to come to this meeting, as your comments are necessary
and helpful.
