Accept Grant from CenterPoint Energy Minnegasco to the Fire
Department
5.1.
On behalf of the Elk River Fire Department I will be present at the City Council meeting on
Monday, November 24, 2003 to accept a $2,500 grant for the purchase of Amkus rescue tools for
the f~re department. CenterPoint Energy's Community Partnership Grant Program awards
communities up to $2,500 for the purchase of public safety equipment. The Elk River Fire
Department applied for a grant to purchase rescue tools to be placed on Engine 2 located at the new
f~re station on Orono Parkway.
The Elk River Fire Department would like to thank CenterPoint Energy Minnegasco for this
generous $2,500 donation for the purchase of Arnkus rescue tools to assist in serving our
community and our citizens. I will be in attendance at the Council meeting to accept the grant award
from CenterPoint Energy Minnegasco.
