Consider Personnel Committee Recommendation
A new Park Planner/Planner was hired in the Spring of 2001 with the intent that a job analysis
questionnaire be completed after the employee had been in the position for one year to
determine the correct placement of this position in the city's pay plan. Chris Leeseberg has
been in this position over a year and recendy completed a job analysis questionnaire.
The Personnel Committee has reviewed the new Park Planner/Planner position profile based
on the duties currently performed by Chris Leeseberg and recommends that the Park
Planner/Planner position be assigned a point value of 73 and pay grade 1E.
Action Requested
The City Council is asked to approve the position point value and pay grade for the Park
Planner/Planner as recommended by thc Personnel Committee.
