BACKGROUND /DISCUSSION
At its meeting on October 15, 2012, the City Council tabled action on the Conditional Use Permit request
by Alliance Machine to develop a portion of his property for outdoor storage. Staff was directed to work
with the applicant to fine tune the screening plan.
Staff and the applicant continue to work on the screening plan, but it is not yet complete. The Council is
asked to open and continue the item to the December 3 City Council meeting.
The second 60 -day period expires on December 7, 2012. The Council will need to either make a decision
on December 3, or receive a waiver from the applicant by that date.
