Approve a National Register of Historic Places Recognition Plaque to be purchased for the Elk River
Water Tower.
Background/Discussion
In June of 2012 the FR River Water Tower was named to the National Register of Historic Places. In
order to commemorate and recognize this accomplishment Staff would like to purchase a plaque to be
displayed at the site. Staff contacted the State office for a list of plaque vendors. The attachment shows
visuals and pricing for some of the most common plaques purchased to recognize National Register
placement. Staff recommends the purchase of a Standard Bronze National Register Plaque.
