SUBJECT: Meeting Reminder— November 15, 2012
This is to remind you of our upcoming meeting on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at the Elk
River City Hall in the Uppertown Conference Room. Please see the attached agenda and minutes.
STAFF UPDATES
I. ELK RIVER WATER TOWER UPDATE
Staff is researching plaques and will share with you the varieties of plaques for the Commission to
choose from.
2. PLANNING COMMISSION ITEMS
No items on the Planning Commission agenda for discussion.
3. BAILEY POINT & HOULTON PROPERTY UPDATE
Staff will give updates during the meeting.
4. SCSU PROJECT UPDATE
Articles are being submitted and sent to the paper and will be reviewed sometime after the election to
begin the series of articles. Staff will be attending the students' preliminary reviews of the trailmarkers
on November 19 and December 3, 2012 at SCSU.
5. PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL DISCUSSION
HPC Commissioner Mortensen would like to go over some promotional materials she has picked up in
various communities that may be useful for Elk River.
