1. Call Meeting To Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof,the meeting of the Economic Development
Authority was called to order at 5:30 p.m.by President Tveite.

6. Manufacturers Week—October 22—28.2012
Mr.Wilfahrt provided an update on Manufacturers Week activities in Elk River.
President Tveite indicated that Elk River is very fortunate to have good quality
manufacturers which help to create a stable job base.
Commissioner Provo commented that it is a good idea for EDA members to stay involved
because manufacturers are overlooked in many communities. He stated speaking as a
manufacturer,he appreciates the city's efforts in reaching out and getting manufacturing
facilities involved in recruiting talented workers.
7. Marketing Update
Mr.Wilfahrt presented his marketing update as outlined in his staff report.
8. Executive Director's Update
Mr.Wilfahrt provided the Executive Director's update as outined in the staff report.
