Hot Topic(s) of the Month
The Recreation Division has officially rolled out RecTrac, our new recreation management
software system. Participants can now access the system through the City Website. This
new software will allow for a more streamlined registration process for customers and will
allow staff to better analyze program and facility usage in order to make effective offerings
to the community. We have already had several participants compliment on the
user-friendly aspects of the system.

• Sunday,December 16th: Elk River Figure Skating Club's Holiday Spectacular is 2:30-
3:30pm and Skate with Santa is 3:45-5:15,donations accepted for CAER.

November Recap:
• 80 people attended the Taylor Marie Fashion Show held on Nov 8th Fashion show
models were seniors that participate at the center. This event was a huge success and
we received a special phone call from a participant thanking us for the event.
• CAER food shelf fundraiser was co-sponsored with Elk River Senior Dining on
November 20th at 350 Evans. Totals of 255 pounds of food and$209 were raised.
• The Players in the Groove performance of Santa Flunks Christmas was held at the
Activity Center on Nov 29th. 110 people attended. This was also a fundraiser for
CAER food shelf.A total of 130 pounds of food and$130 were collected.
• November trips included Mystic Lake Casino and Plymouth Playhouse.
