Statute requires resolutions to be adopted by a 2/3 majority vote. BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION The Police Department has two donations since September 2012. The attached spreadsheet lists the date of the donation,the donor,the amount donated,and the intent of the donation. FINANCIAL IMPACT • $2,400.00 worth of donations in the form of cash made to the city. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River that the donations on the attached Exhibit A are accepted in accordance with the terms prescribed by the donors.
