IIIA RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE IMPROVEMENT AND
PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS IN
THE MATTER OF THE 2013 STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS pursuant to Resolution No. 13-03 adopted by the Council on January 7, 2013,a
feasibility report was accepted and a public hearing was called to be held on the 2013
Street Improvement projects which includes sanitary sewer,watermain, storm sewer,
aggregate base, concrete curb and gutter,bituminous surfacing, and appurtenant
work;and
WHEREAS ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing was given, and
the hearing was held on the 4th of February 2013 at which time all person desiring to
be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon;and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River,
Minnesota:
1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein.
III 2. Such improvements are necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the feasibility report.
3. WSB &Associates, Inc.,under the direction of the city engineer,is hereby directed to prepare
plans and specifications for the making of the improvement and the solicitation of competitive
bids.
