Appoint by motion the following:
1. Stewart Wilson as a voting member to the Economic Development Authority (EDA) valid to
December 31, 2014.
2. Stewart Wilson as Council liaison to the Heritage Preservation Commission (HPC) valid to
December 31, 2014.
BACKGROUND /DISCUSSION
There is a Council vacancy on the EDA left from when the Ward 1 seat was vacated by Nick Zerwas.
Council is asked to appoint newly elected Ward 1 Councilmember Stewart Wilson to fill the vacancy.
At the January 7, 2013 meeting, the Council made the two -year Council liaison appointments. At that
time Councilmember Westgaard was appointed as liaison to the HPC for the two -year term with the
understanding that once a replacement was made to fill the Ward 1 vacancy, this liaison role would return
to Council for consideration.
Mr. Wilson is currently the Chair of the HRA.
