Park and Recreation Commission Update
Item # 4.3.
The Park and Recreation Commission had a light agenda for their June 12th meeting. The
Commission listened to a presentation by Chad Lanners regarding the YMCA. They had a
brief question and answer session after Mr. Lanners' presentation. Staffwill be scheduling
regular updates by Mr. Lanners regarding the YMCA development activities.
The Commission also reviewed a preliminary plat for park dedication purposes and
approved a final concept Master Plan for Orono Park. Staff will be developing a preliminary
budget and phasing plan for Orono Park for consideration and approval by the Commission
and Council.
