Background
Jeffrey Paletz has made application for a transient merchant license to go door-to-door to
sell wireless high speed Internet access from Multiband, Inc. He is requesting this license
from December 2003 until December of 2004, going door-to-door during the weekends.
He has been made aware that the city code does allow this license to be issued for a one-year
period but that during that period sales are limited to 30 days. Mr. Paletz has successfully
passed the required criminal background check.
Action Requested
A motion from Council approving a transient merchant license for Jeffrey Paletz to go door-
to-door to sell wireless high speed Intemet access from Multiband, Inc.
