This is to remind you of our upcoming meeting on Wednesday, March 20,2013 at 8:30 a.m.in the
Uppertown Conference Room at the Elk River City Hall. Rebecca Lundberg,Powerfully Green will be
presenting on solar energy. The agenda,January minutes and subcommittee information is attached.
STAFF UPDATES
COMMISSION SUBCOMMITTEE MEMBERS
Education—Commissioners Setterholm,Steinbeck,and Zehringer, Staff Haug and Wilfarht
Energy Design—Commissioner Chuba, Staff Haug and Sagstetter
Demonstration Criteria—Commissioners Hagen and Rybak,Staff Haug
Visionary—Chair Setala,Commissioners Sayler,Rohlf and Westgaard, Staff Haug
COMMISSION SUBCOMMITTEES
Education—The Education Subcommittee met on February 5,2013. An update will be given at the March
meeting.
Energy Design—The Energy Design Subcommittee met on February 22,2013. A revised draft flier has
been put together to be given out to builders,homeowners,architects,etc. to provide some ideas on more
energy efficient building component materials. The draft flier is attached.
Demonstration Criteria—The Demonstration Criteria Subcommittee met on January 16,2013. A draft
demonstration criteria form is attached
Visionary—The Visionary Subcommittee is scheduled to meet on March 15,2013. An update will be given
during the meeting.
NATURE
