Staff recommends the Parks and Recreation Commission support the appointment of Ryan Holmgren to
the Ice Arena Commission.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
One of the seats on the Ice Arena Commission is for a representative from the Parks and Recreation
Commission. Mike Niziolek had been serving on this Commission for several years. Ryan did express
interest to serve on the Commission when he met with me to discuss various roles and duties of a
Commissioner.
