Staff recommends the Parks and Recreation Commission support the donation of a storage unit for the
Youth Athletic Complex football field.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
Staff was approached in February by the Elk River Youth Football Association to donate a storage
container for the Youth Athletic Complex football field. They need it for football and field supplies. It is
a used storage container 8 x 8 in size with the estimated value of$1,000. The exact location of the
storage unit is in the opposite corner of the scoreboard as shown on the attached site plan. The
Association has been asked to maintain it and they have had storage units on the property in past years
that have worked out fine.
