Summer is the busiest program season of the year, so having the planning done early allows for more effective marketing efforts. In order to support program planning during the interim period while we have a vacant Program Coordinator position, several season staff are working for the Recreation Division in a part-time bases. These individuals have worked with the Parks and Recreation Department for several years and have a core understanding of the level of planning that is needed to design quality programs. A second day of play has now been added. Most players are choosing to participate on both days of the week. Options for outdoor Pickleball courts are being explored. We hope to offer outdoor Pickleball starting in May 2013. • Fitness Valentine's Party was held. Free fitness classes were offered throughout the day with a record high attendance at all classes that day. • A full bus went to the Old Log Theater to see MAHALIA on Feb.27th.
