A RESOLUTION FOR. THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS IN THE MATTER OF THE
JOPLIN STREET IMPROVEMENT OF 1996
WHEREAS v.~e Fia:d Plat has been approved for Country Crossing 3rd Addition and it is
anticipated the Developer will proceed with the improvements in 1996; and
WHEREAS the plat accesses onto Joplin Street between Mississippi Road and Riverview Drive;
and
WHEREAS this section of Joplin Street is in disrepair and needs to be upgraded to support the
anticipated increase in traffic volume;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River,
Minnesota:
MSA, Consulting Engineers is hereby designated as Project Engineer for t~his
hnprovement. The Project Engineer is directed to prepare plans and specifications for the
making of the improvement and the solicitation of competitive bids.
