1. Call Meeting To Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Planning Commission
was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Chair Anderson.
2. Oath of Office
Eric Johnson and Jeremy Johnson were sworn in as Planning Commissioners.

Chair Anderson opened the public hearing. There being no comment,Chair Anderson

COMMISSIONER ERIC JOHNSON TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE
REQUEST BY THE CITY OF ELK RIVER TO REZONE THE HOHLEN
PROPERTY FROM R1C SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO C3 HIGHWAY
COMMERCIAL, CASE NO.ZC 13-01. MOTION CARRIED 7-0.
5.3 Request by City of Elk River to Amend the Land Use of Lot 1,Block 1,Hillside Crossing,
from OS Open Space to HB Highway Business,Case No.LU 13-01 —Public Hearing
Chair Anderson opened the public hearing. There being no comment,Chair Anderson
closed the public hearing.

6th Addition from HB Highway Business to I-1 Light Industrial (Sportech),Case No.LU 13-
02—Public Hearing
Chair Anderson opened the public hearing. There being no comment,Chair Anderson
closed the public hearing.

COMMISSIONER JEREMY JOHNSON TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF
THE REQUEST BY THE CITY OF ELK RIVER TO AMEND THE LAND USE
OF LOT 2,BLOCK 1,ELK RIVER CROSSING SIXTH ADDITION FROM HB
HIGHWAY BUSINESS TO I-1 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL(SPORTECH PROPERTY),
CASE NO. LU 13-02. MOTION CARRIED 7-0.
6.1 Planning Commission Representative—Administrative Hearing Board
Mr.Barnhart stated that a representative of the Planning Commission is asked to
serve on the Administrative Hearing Board. He noted that the term will be two
years. Commissioner Eric Johnson expressed interest in serving on the board.

MOVED BY CHAIR ANDERSON AND SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER
WESTBERG TO NOMINATE ERIC JOHNSON TO SERVE AS THE
PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVE ON THE ADMINISTRATIVE
HEARING BOARD. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. Commissioner Eric Johnson
abstained.
