Open and close a public hearing to take comments on the previously reviewed Wastewater Facility Plan
as required by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA). No further action is required.

ACKGROUNDISCUSSION
The Wastewater Treatment Facility Plan was presented and approved at the March 18, 2013, meeting.
This plan details current and future wastewater loads and treatment options for the Wastewater
Treatment Facility. The Facility Plan has been available for viewing at City Hall and the presentation
given at the March 18, 2013, City Council meeting has been available on Cable Channel 12 and the
website. The MPCA requires the plan be noticed and a public hearing held to take public comment. If no
comments are received, the plan will be submitted to the MPCA as previously approved.
Staff will be present to address any questions that arise but no additional presentation is planned.
