BACKGROUND /DISCUSSION The Evans, Westwood and City Hall Lift Stations were identified in the 2012 Capital Improvement Plan. Funds for the upgrades were included in the 2013 WWTP CIP Budget. Staff solicited three quotes to perform the work as follows: Company Bid Amount Electric Pump $82,828.13 Tri -State Pump 81,384.62 Quality Flow 86,725.00 Staff is requesting approval of the quote from Electric Pump. Although their quote is higher, they are the most familiar with the system. The City has utilized Electric Pump for lift station upgrades in the past but believes control panels from the same contractor will increase consistency throughout the system. FINANCIAL IMPACT The 2013 WWTP budget is funding for the upgrades.
