SUBJECT: Temporary Extension of On-Sale Liquor
Premises
The Eagles Club have requested an extension of their On-Sale Liquor
Premises. When an on-sale liquor license is issued, it is issued for
the premises of the building. Therefore, when a liquor
establishment requests to hold an outdoor event, the premises must
be extended.
The Eagles Club is requesting to hold a benefit event on July 25,
1998. They will be selling liquor in a fenced area on their property
during this event. A representative of the Eagles has met with the
Police Chief and has been informed of the Police Department's rules
regarding these type of events. The Police Chief has indicated that
the Eagles intend to comply with the requirements of the
Department.
A certificate of insurance has been provided indicated that the
liquor liability coverage will be extended to cover the event.
ACTION REQUESTED:
Motion to grant a temporary on-sale liquor premises extension to the
Eagles Club for July 25, 1998.
