I, Stephanie A. Klinzing, Mayor, hereby request a special meeting of the
City Council on February 5, 2001, at 6:00 p.m. to be held at the Elk River
City Hall in the Training Room.
THE PURPOSE OF THIS SPECIAL MEETING IS AS FOLLOWS ........
To meet jointly with the EDA and HRA to discuss economic
· development financing tools including tax increment financing,
tax abatement, and business subsidies.
In accordance with State Statute, I hereby request the city clerk to post this
notice at least three days prior to the meeting date. I further request the city
clerk to notify each member of the City Council of this special meeting, in

· To meet with the City's financial consul~antz in a workshop dealing with financial
matters.
