The City Council of the City of Elk River does hereby ordain as follows:
Section 1. That Chapter 54, Article II of the City of Elk River Code of Ordinances shall be
amended to add new Section 54 -34 thereto, which shall read as follows:
Sec. 54 -34. Adoption and Enforcement of Regulations.
(a) Regulations regarding permitted and prohibited activities within public parks
which are adopted by the City Council shall be enforced by the City Park and
Police Departments.
(b) Any person failing to comply with an adopted regulation regarding park use
use, including posted regulations and restrictions, shall be guilty of a
misdemeanor.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect upon adoption and be published as provided by
law.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Ella River this 20`'' day of May, 2013.
