Approve by motion,a special event permit to Kathy and Scott Daulton for a 5K walk/run scheduled for
Sunday,August 18, 2013,with the following conditions:
1. Applicant shall be responsible for garbage clean-up immediately following event.
2. No paint allowed anywhere on trails. Chalk and/or cones may be used.
Background/Discussion
Kathy and Scott Daulton are requesting to host a 5K walk/run on August 18, 2013. Below is a synopsis
of the request:
• The 5K run/walk will begin and end at Meadowvale Elementary School.
• The event begins at 11:00 a.m. and goes until 1:00 p.m.
• The event is open to interested individuals. The Daulton's are expecting approximately 100—
200 participants.
