Jeremy I~dein has made application for a transient merchant license to go door-to-door to
sell wireless high speed Internet access from Multiband, Inc. He is requesting this license
from January 2004 until the end of December 2004, going door-to-door during the
weekends. He has been made aware that the city code does allow this license to be issued
for a one-year period but that during that period sales are limited to 30 days. The Police
Department is conducting the required criminal background check. Approval should be
contingent upon a successful background check.
Action Requested
A motion from Council approving a transient merchant license for Jeremy Klein to go door-
to-door to sell wireless high speed Internet access from Multiband, Inc.
