City Staff recommends approval of 5K Run/Walk event at Woodland Trails with the following
provisions:
• Park Rental fee be waived
• Damage deposit of$100
• Group will pay cost of extra items such as portable toilets, trash pick up
• No marking of any kind allowed on trail system. Cones may be used.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
DTN Ministries has requested the use of Woodland Trails in order to host a 5K Run/Walk School on
September 28 from 9:30 a.m. - Noon. They expect approximately 200 participants.
This event is intended to raise funds for DTN Ministries programs that address human trafficking issues.
