Grading of Cass Property Wetlands
The Cass property grading has been done in phases with the ballfields being
Phase I, the 165th Avenue lots Phase II, the Jarvis Street lot Phase III, and
the bio solids disposal arm Phase IV, so all that remains for Phase V is filling
the wetland south of the ballfields and building the access road across the
abandoned judicial ditch.
I have been assured by the contractors involved that I will have their
quotations by Friday, so I will have the price information as a handout for
Monday's Council meeting.
Recommendation
Staff recommends that the City Council authorize hiring the contractor with
the lowest quotation so that the wetland recovery and mitigation can be
completed under this permit and that the WWTS can start to spread sludge
on their property.
