SUBJECT: Meeting Reminder & Staff Updates—July 17, 2013
This is to remind you of our upcoming meeting on Wednesday,July 17,2013 at 8:30 a.m. in the
Uppertown Conference Room at the Elk River City Hall. Diana McKeown, Clean Energy Resource Team
(CERTs) will be presenting. The agenda,May minutes and subcommittee minutes and information is
attached.
STAFF UPDATES
COMMISSION SUBCOMMITTEE MEMBERS
Education—Commissioners Setterholm, Steinbeck, and Zehringer, Staff Haug and Wilfarht
Energy Design—Commissioners Chuba and Sagstetter, Staff Haug
Demonstration Criteria—Commissioners Hagen and Rybak, Staff Haug
Visionary—Chair Setala,Commissioners Sayler, Rohlf and Westgaard, Staff Haug
COMMISSION SUBCOMMITTEES
Education—The Education Subcommittee is scheduled to meet at 7:30 a.m. on July 17, 2013,prior to the
ECC meeting.
Energy Design—The Energy Design Subcommittee met on July 10, 2013 and reviewed the attached flier.
The subcommittee also discussed future demonstration opportunities and continuing to keep the
relationship with Senator Franken's office to be open to participating in a Pilot Program.
Demonstration Criteria—The Demonstration Criteria Subcommittee is scheduled to meet after the ECC
meeting.
Visionary—The Visionary Subcommittee is scheduled to meet on July 12, 2013. An update will be given
during the meeting.

FUTURE MEETING TOPICS
Staff has contacted Don Jahnke,Midwest Energy Design but has not heard back from him.
Commissioner Rybak has submitted his resignation from the Energy City Commission. Staff will contact
the school district about filling the vacant position.
