Approve by motion a request to review and recommend changes to the sign ordinance.
Background/Discussion
After discussions with local businesses, the Elk River Chamber of Commerce provided the city with a list
of recommended changes to the sign ordinance. With these items, and others identified previously, staff
will review and undertake a comprehensive review of the ordinance
Signage standards to review include:
• Permitted sizes, types, and locations
• Temporary signs
• Billboards
• Enforcement standards
