Approve by motion a one-year extension of the Eagles Marsh Addition plat.
Background/Discussion
The preliminary plat for Eagles Marsh was approved in 2001. Since then,two phases have been
approved and recorded,in 2001 and 2005. A preliminary plat expires after one year of no action, or a
year after a phase is final platted. Extensions were granted by the city in 2005, 2008, 2009 and 2010. In
reviewing a recently submitted final plat,it was noted that the preliminary plat expired.
The developer seeks an additional extension,due to the continued slowdown in the residential housing
market. The request is consistent with recent Council action regarding extensions for started projects.
Staff supports the request.
