This is to remind you of our upcoming meeting on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 6:00
p.m. at the Elk River City Hall in the Uppertown Conference Room. Please see the
attached agenda, minutes and staff report.
STAFF UPDATES
I. PLANNING COMMISSION ITEMS
No items on the Planning Commission agenda for discussion.
2. GOALS AND PRIORITIES
The HPC last updated their goals and priorities in 2010. I have attached those goals and
priorities. Please review them prior to the meeting and be prepared to discuss the goals
and priorities for the next three years.
3. THE 33RD ANNUAL STATEWIDE HISTORIC PRESERVATION
CONFERENCE
Commissioner Fox and Staff Haug will give an update on what they learned at the
Conference
4. SCSU PROJECT UPDATE
Staff contacted Professor Chuks from SCSU to work on the walking tour guide for the
City of Elk River. The students will provide a presentation of the guide once the project
is complete.
5. COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE
Commissioner Fox will give an update on the status of the City's Comprehensive Plan.
