Hiring Summer Employees
Our needs for summer workers are as follows: · 2 employees for athletic fields
· 2 employees for small turf mowers/weed whips
· I employee for large turf mowing
· I employee for flowers and other park maintenance
Item # 3.4.
Recommendation:
Council approval to hire 6 summer workers.
Due to the work load, we need to hire these workers as soon as possible. We are
doing interviews on Thursday and Friday, and I will be at the Council meeting on
Tuesday with a list of our selected choices.
First year workers are paid level I, step A or $8.95 per hour; return employees are paid
level I, step B or $9.89 per hour; and return employees over 3 years experience are
level I, step C or $10.84 per hour.
