Background/Discussion
The 2014 Comprehensive Plan update continues. Three Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) meetings
were held since the project started in June,taking August off for Night to Unite.
Members currently represent the City Council, Planning Commission, Parks and Recreation Commission,
Heritage Preservation Commission,Energy City Commission, Chamber of Commerce, and Sherburne
County.
Thus far, the CAC has reviewed the vision, and discussed the transportation and utility network, and
reviewed housing,land use, and economic development aspects of the plan.
Additionally, Councilmembers and other residents are encouraged to complete the survey found on the
website. The results from this survey help the CAC make decisions on the evolution of the community.
