August Recap:
• Nite to Unite was attended by 80 seniors. Hot dogs and chips were served and
entertainment provided by Tony Garry. This was the largest attendance for this
annual event. Thanks to ERPD for stopping in and presenting door prizes.
• `2 ost Loot" author talk and book signing event was held at the center. Star News was
at this presentation and followed up with a very nice article and picture in the paper.
• The fast edition of the newly redesigned Senior Scene monthly newsletter was
distributed. Many, many compliments on the new look have been received by staff.
• August trips included the MN Landscape Arboretum, which was full with a waiting
list. The annual MN State Fair trip was cancelled due to the extremely hot weather.
