Subject: Security Sales and Installation
We have for some time discussed expanding the security area with a full time person to
sell and install security systems. With increased mischief making and crime in general,
there is a demand for this service particularly in a fast growing area like ours. The recent
presentation at the annual MMUA conference about security reinforces this fact. We
have recently found a person who would do a good job in selling and installing security
systems. We will also need a vehicle to support this added position.
Staff recommends authorization be given to hire this individual and purchase either a 4x4
pickup or an all wheel drive van to support this position.
