One of our final programs from the summer season,the Farmers Market,will conclude to October 3. Once complete staff will review the Farmers Market to determine how well the Market performed. In addition to our regular schedule, many special programs and activities were held at the Activity Center. • A Newcomer's Lunch was attended by 20 people on September 20. • Women's Health and Fitness Day on September 25 featured a walk to Bailey Point Nature Preserve. A total of 20 women enjoyed walking on a beautiful afternoon. • Senior Center Month Celebration featuring the music of Joanne Bolles was held on September 26.Joanne received a standing ovation for her performance. Upcoming Events: • The Activity Center fundraiser for C.A.E.R, our local food shelf will be held on October 28. This is an evening event with dinner and music.
