SUBJECT: Consider Extending Temporary Building Inspector Position
Applications to fill the vacant position for Building Inspector closed on January 16, 2004.
The city received 39 applications for this position. Interviews will be scheduled .for
February 3, 2004 and staff hopes to have a recommendation to the City Council on hiring
at their February 9, 2004 meeting.
On December 22, 2003, the Council approved the temporary Building Inspector position
through February 2, 2004. Staff is requesting another extension for this position until
February 29, 2004
