Reminder for HPC meeting on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the Elk River
City Hall in the Uppertown Conference Room. Please see the attached agenda, minutes

I. PLANNING COMMISSION ITEMS
Zach Carlton, Planning Intern, will be in attendance to discuss the Sign Ordinance.
2. SCSU PROJECT
3. WATER TOWER FUNDRAISING PLAN
Staff has contacted the Minnesota Historical Society to inquire on the likelihood of
qualifying for and receiving a grant to restore the water tower (estimated at $400,000).
4. COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE
Commissioner Fox will give an update on the status of the City's Comprehensive Plan.
5. REVISED GOALS AND PRIORITIES

5. JACK BADE MEMORIAL
Don Heinzman will be in attendance to discuss a memorial for Jack Bade.
