A RESOLUTION FoR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION OF CONTRACT IN THE MATTER OF THE
JOPLIN STREET/TH 10 INTERSECTION AND NORTH FRONTAGE ROAD
IMPROVEMENT OF 1996
WHEREAS
WHEREAS
pursuant to Resolution 96-54, cc, mpetitive bids were solicited and received for the
Joplin Street/TH l0 ]intersection and North Frontage Road improvement as set
forth in the bid tabulation attached hereto and incorporated herein by this
reference; and
the City Council has considered the amount of the bids and the responsibility of the
bidders and determined that Baueriy Brothers, Inc., is the lowest responsible
bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOI,VED by the City Council of the City of Elk River.
Minnesota:
The Mayor and City Adminisrr~xor are authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the
Ciw, such contract with Bauerly Brothers, Inc., as is approved by the City Attorney for
the completion of the Joplin Street/TH 10 Intersection and Noxth Frontage Road
improvement according to the approved plans and specifications designated in Resolution
96-54.
This award is contingent on the City receiving written concurrence to the award from
MnDOT.

The City Administrator is authorized and directed to 'forthwith return to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids upon execution of the contract above specified.
