Approve by motion the hiring of Zachary Carlton as Planner I effective December 17, 2013.
Background/Discussion
Staff received 27 applications for this position and interviewed the top three candidates based on
strengths necessary for the posistion. Of the three interviewed our current Planning Intern, Zachary
Carlton,is being recommended for this position.
Mr. Carlton will start at step A of pay grade 7. All pay and benefits will be consistent with city policy.
Financial Impact
This is a budgeted position.
