This mission has been incorporated into their marketing materials:
The mission of the Energy City Commission is to provide a central location in the upper Midwest to demonstrate
emerging and leading edge renewable energy and energy conservation technologies and to transfer that information to the
general public. Goals under the Energy City Commission emphasi.Ze the importance of Elk River Energy City as an
economic development tool. The Commission sees the potential to create high paying energy-related scientific research
