I had intended on presenting a videotape of various styles of pedestrian
bridges along with a memorandum regarding construction materials, types of
construction, and costs as compared to the federal funding that the City has
received. The purpose of this presentation was to provide some information
as to the various styles of pedestrian bridges that are available, and to get
some Council input into the type of style that you would like to see across
Truck Highway 169. Unfortunately, though the videotape was ready, not all
of the costs have been prepared. Therefore, this item is being withdrawn
from the City Council agenda and will be presented at an upcoming City
Council meeting.
